Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders

Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs) are any atypical, adaptive muscle patterns associated with the orofacial complex (mouth and face).
Without proper treatment, OMDs may affect facial growth and development, breathing, speech, chewing, swallowing, dental development, stability of orthodontic treatment, facial esthetics and more.
The OM Clinic has the special training and expertise to diagnose and treat OMDs for patients at any age.
