Hi! I'm Michelle Lemieux, a Registered Dental Hygienist with extensive experience, along with additional training as an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist (OMT).
My path to orofacial myofunctional therapy began when both of my children were born with severe tongue ties. and myself having been treated for a tongue thrust. These experiences with orofacial myofunctional therapy allowed me to understand the connection of OMT to both oral health, and overall body wellness, and encouraged me to expand my background in the dental field with additional training to become an OMT provider.
I am looking forward to providing each client with the benefits from treatment that I experienced as well.

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy

Orofacial myofunctional therapy involves an individualized program to treat Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs). Each program offered works to retrain the muscles to achieve a normal resting posture of the tongue, lips and jaw, and to help facilitate proper breathing, chewing, swallowing and facial growth.

Correcting the muscular function of the mouth, head and neck, at any age, will then develop and maintain a healthy orofacial environment.
